Game of Thrones S1E9 "Baelor" Patreon Watch Along

Episodes 1-6 are now available for all Tier 2 Members.

Also, to answer a question from the last post, sync reference varies on how much time I (Havits) have time to export the video for you guys. The blur takes a long time to render out and sometimes I need to get it out quick to get it into your eyes. As you can see these episodes now have the subs for your sync purposes but it's also a higher quality video (HEVC) which makes the edit longer to export. Again these are "Watch Alongs" and not intended to be market substitutes to the original content. You are more than able to sync these with your own copies whether it is blurred or cropped. We also have to be extra careful because this show contains nudity and even the slightest slip can lead to the videos being taken down, something we already had to deal with in the earlier episodes. Sorry for the winded response, just want to be as transparent as possible.

Enjoy the episode! This is the one we've all been waiting for!

Yes, let's tell her how the show works so instead of being surprised she's always on the lookout for it. That should make the reactions so much better! You're a genius!

I expect that desk to be completely destroyed in the future . Welcome to the part of the show and you find out they will kill off any character no matter how important they may seem lol

This was a turning point for this show, when viewers realized that this isn't your common fantasy where main characters typically survive no matter what. It made us understand that anyone is free game, and in my opinion, makes it more true to life and shows actual human nature. Higher stakes for everyone. - You're right about the magics of the world slowly starting to crop up. Initially they make it seem a solid "low fantasy" with mentions of dragons, white walkers, old gods, etc... being more like historical fictions, but we can't deny there is more to it all. - While the scene was very intense, an interesting note is that they used Ned's own sword in that final moment. The same sword we saw Ned behead that runaway night's watchman in Episode 1. - Good callout on the West vs. East. The Westerosi seem to value honor, duty, and titles while those across the narrow sea are more focused on strength. You saw how quickly some of the Dothraki were turning against Khal Drogo once he fell off his horse. - Tywin's actor (Charles Dance) has been in a ton of stuff through the years, but not Star Wars. He does look a lot like Peter Cushing who played Tarkin in Episode IV though. You may recognize Charles from other things like one of the Underworld movies, or one of the new Godzilla movies. He's done a ton of UK based films and series. Shout out to Havits for rocking the editing and pushing these out as soon as possible!
