Episode 2 is now available to all tier 2 Patrons and above

The problem is that Youtube blocks videos with too little blur because of copyright.

I actually do that for another reactor I subscribe to on Patreon. They give just enough video space to track scene(ry) changes. It helps immensely.

Jeff

Funny fact, I have found myself marveling how adept I have become at 're-syncing' my own copy of the video with that of the reactor even if most (or even all) of the screen is blurred. The trick is to use scene changes that go from a dark shot to one with light or from one dominant color to another. I ignore the timer completely really. For example I will sync usually at the start after the intro (the one with the map) on the black screen you usually get there and the actual start of the story. It even works at the middle of the episode really. I will pause my copy to the point right after the big change and tap the spacebar when I see that same change occur in the reactors video.

Thank you. Much appreciated.

Jeff

Her timer starts with the opening theme. So, on your copy, pause when the opening starts. Start the reaction video and when the opening starts, start playing your copy.

How do I sync? When I match the timer on the video, it's off. Do you skip intro and recap? When is a good time to begin the sync? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Jeff

Lol at saying dialogue is the opposite of intrigue. I understand why this show fell off without the books to support it.

Just took a look at the comments on the YouTube videos and I really hope she's not reading them. People hinting at things to come everywhere.

Ja'vel

The last few episodes have been pretty dialogue heavy with lots of setting up. From here forward it definitely begins to pick up the pace and intrigue

Rafa

Pro tip: turn on subtitles. It’ll help you from missing important dialouge.

I warned ya Stef, you can't take too big of a break from watching. This is my ... I lost count really ... watch through and I still find new stuff. There really is hardly any fat on the show (figuratively speaking).

Lots of conversations this episode, most of which are hitting home what we already know. Some new stuff too! - We learned Jon Arryn's squire, Lord Hugh, who died by the Mountain in the joust last episode, suddenly came into some money after Jon died. - Robert seems itching for a fight, and yet he's afraid of the Targaryens across the sea. He wants them killed. - We learned Ser Jorah Mormont is sending word about Daenerys & the Dothraki to the small council. Remember, he wants nothing more right now than to go home. - The Hound and The Mountain's childhood enmity came to a bit of a head during the tournament when they fought each other. - Ser Loras Tyrell (knight of the flowers) & Renly Baratheon (the king's brother) are in a relationship. The Tyrells are rich, but not as rich as the Lannisters. Ser Loras wants Renly to be king instead of Robert (or Robert's children). In this conversation we also learned that Robert & Renly have a brother named Stannis. - Jon Arryn's wife & son (Lysa and Robin) are holed up in their castle after his death (they feel he was murdered by the Lannisters). Things are bit weird in the Eyrie. Lysa is Cat's sister, and Cat was hoping to keep Tyrion prisoner/safe there instead of Winterfell for the time being. - The bitter conversation between Robert & Cersei indicate they tried for a brief time, but their first baby's death along with Robert's obsession with Lyanna Stark (Ned's dead sister) made their arranged marriage impossible to be happy. - Robert briefly confirmed the last "good" fight was about a decade ago with the Greyjoy uprising. Theon Greyjoy (the one....paying Ros for her services....) has been "ward" at Winterfell since that uprising was quashed.

In regards to Ned investigating Jon Arryn’s death, I feel like you probably grasped the most important aspects. Jon was locating and visiting all of King Robert’s bastard children and it was suggested to Ned that Jon was poisoned. Ned just isn’t sure why Jon was locating them.
