2024-03-06 04:21:06 +0000 UTCThanks to this episode, we now have some more historical information: - The Mad King (Aerys Targaryen, Daenerys's father) burned Ned's Father and Brother to death, and nobody stopped him. - Jaime later stabbed the Mad King in the back as the king wanted to continue "burning them all". - Littlefinger (Petyr Baelish) loved Catleyn and fought a duel with Ned's brother Brandon over her and lost, but survived with a scar. After Brandon was burned to death, Catelyn and Ned got married. - We learned that the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch has the same last name as Ser Jorah Mormont (who is with the Dothraki group). - We now know Jaime/Cersei/Tyrion's father's name is Tywin Lannister, and the crown owes him millions in gold. Clearly the Lannisters are one of the richest families in the Seven Kingdoms. Also, you wondered, but that was indeed the first time seeing Jaime/Cersei/Tyrion's cousin Lancel Lannister (MORE WINE!), as well as the Kingsguard Ser Barristan Selmy.
