Star Wars - The Rise of Skywalker Watch Along

Comments

My assessment of Star Wars would be something like this: -The Empire Strikes Back 10/10 -Star Wars 10/10 -Return of the Jedi 8.5/10 -Revenge of the Sith 6.5/10 -The Phantom Menace 5.5/10 -Attack of the Clones 4.5/10 -The Rise of Skywalker 1/10 -The Force Awakens 1/10 -The Last Jedi 0/10 I think that Revenge of the Sith, putting aside a bit of a weak opening and some poor dialogue is a very good movie overall, but suffers from not lining up all that well with the original trilogy in the way that the fight on Mustafar plays out. It is basically the way it was described in the novelization for Return of the Jedi, but it is hard to see how it lines up all that well with what Obi-Wan says in the original Star Wars. I will never really see the “Sequel Trilogy” as being part of Star Wars, to be honest. I largely discount the Prequels, as they are weaker than the Original Trilogy, but they had far more going on than the Sequels, for sure. They are actually quite good when looked at in relation to the Sequels, I think. Also, despite their flaws, they still feel like Star Wars movies. I didn’t like The Force Awakens at all when it came out and only saw it once. Only just saw the other two over the past week. To be honest, I could basically just put those three as all zeros. They just aren’t even really part of Star Wars to me, but I am sure that there are people out there who may like them.

I tried to watch this one early this morning, but didn’t make it through it. I will eventually get through it. These sequel movies just do nothing for me at all. I was a huge fan as a kid, especially of the Original Trilogy, as well. I wrapped up The Last Jedi the other night. I didn’t have a positive view on that one either, unfortunately. The actor John Boyega *was* in a good and quite funny movie though called Attack the Block, which is definitely worth checking out sometime. I think that you would probably really like that movie. P.S. I did just finish the last one, which is good.

@Stef_Solari, Hello, I'm not sure if you will read this but The Martian is the first video of yours I watched and since finding you there I have now watched quite a few more or your reactions then I came here to your patreon and I really just wanted to tell you I really enjoyed watching your reaction videos, your facial expressions and reactions are just super adorable and you are so beautiful and I just want to watch more of your videos now and I will be doing that and I also think you should go into every movie blind with no spoilers or trailers or anything because I think it makes the reactions more genuine and I love to see things like that and I will be looking forward to watching more of your stuff, keep up the great content

Cool. This is a really fun channel. I have still never seen episodes 8 or 9 (nor the Rouge One or Solo movies). I gave up after Episode 7 came out, which I was pretty unimpressed with, tbh. Lol. That is just me, though. If others like it, power to them, for sure. The original trilogy was great, though.
