LOTR The Two Towers Watch-along!! 😭

LOTR The Two Towers Watch-along!! 😭

I saw an extended interview with the weapons master who taught Viggo and others how to use a sword etc. From what I understand, he found Vigoo to be an exceptional student. All this time later and I love the movies ever more each year.

Great reaction,! The movies did make faramir a bit weaker to the ring than In the books but it really isn't his fault,Denethor basically treats him like shit so he'd do anything for approval. Besides there were two moments where he was about to reconsider but got interrupted, so he would've probably let the ring go even without Sam's speech. His father in a way is responsible for both him and boromir being that way they are and you'll understand a lot more with context in the third movie.

I appreciate it!! It was a lot to take in at once watching both the same day. I am a reader! I’m thinking of getting the books so I can read them after I’m done with the movies!! 🄹

Same here, I liked watching your lovely reaction.

Now that was a lovely reaction, thank you, I like how much you get into these movies :) I remember how incredible it was to see them for the first time in theater some 20 years ago and the agony of waiting a full year for the next one :D no other movie/movies has been so memorable journey. Can't wait for you to see the last one, it is by far my favorite. Also if you are a reader I highly recommend reading the books, they are amazing.

You are extremely observant! Also, this is undoubtedly the sweetest reaction I've ever seen :) ***** Trivia (NO SPOILERS) By the way, all movies were filmed in New Zealand - this country naturally doesn't have any medieval buildings whatsoever, so virtually everything you have and will see, was made for these three movies only. Edoras, the capital of Rohan (basically, that big village you've seen), for instance, was built in real life size. Also, there are some people who find it extremely important that Aragorn broke his toe while kicking that helmet (which is true, of course), however, they forgot to mention that Viggo Mortensen (the actor who plays Aragorn) almost died at least three times (I'm only referring to the events where he was less than one inch away). I'll write down more trivia, after you've seen the final movie :)
