Yay - fourth FPI from my shoots in Cyprus

Delighted to share the news that another image created during my latest shoots in Cyprus has just been added to the Front Page collection on Purpleport.

It is an image featuring Ellie Mae at Aphrodites beach on 8th November. It was uploaded by Ellie herself two weeks ago. This is now the fourth FPI from my autumn 2024 shoots in Cyprus (the other three feature Emily, Caitlyn and Beth). It is also my third FPI with Ellie - the other two were created in my home studio in June.

Clearly Ellie’s beauty and pose is the key ingredient of the composition - the story behind the shoot was of course the goddess of love and beauty, who rose from the foam of the sea more or less at that spot.

Because of that, I made sure that although the focus is on the model, she is only one part of the composition, with Aphrodite’s rock clearly visible in the background.

You may also note the timing of the click - the wave’s position just before it hit Ellie with its movement frozen by using a high shutter speed.

Also, the sheer white fabric we used for this shoot was not random - it looks timeless in the sense that it could have been something the goddess herself might have worn. Anything modern wouldn’t be as effective.

In fact, that piece of fabric has some history, albeit not ancient. It belonged to Tanya modele and we used it in November 2021 at our sunset shoots on the pebble beach - that won us several FPIs from that one shoot. Tanya left that fabric with me as she had the intention of retiring from modelling at the time,
