Meet the new Barbie
Added 2024-08-26 05:00:03 +0000 UTCSophia has a room full of clothes and shoes that she calls “my Barbie room” - as soon as she said that I knew we had to do a Barbie scene! When I asked her how she’d feel about a Barbie scene in that room, she has ecstatic - and told me she never shot in that room, although she shoots in her house regularly with other photographers. I call that missing a trick! Going along with a model’s dreams and aspirations not only motivates them to give their best but can also often help create original content. I didn’t want to shoot in Sophia’s house because so many others had done that before but when she said no one shot in the Barbie room I knew I had to do it!
So these are Sophia’s favourite images from the Barbie set - lightly retouched by Alexander Fess. I’d love to hear what you think.
