Good evening dear patron,
A quick update on two days of shoots, after driving three and a half hours back home from Portsmouth.
Today’s shoot with Poppy was in the morning - we shot for three hours in my hotel room at the Portsmouth Marriott hotel. It wasn’t the best room to shoot in and to top it all up one the ring light I had with me ceased working after giving me an electric shock! I used my back up light - a Rotolight as my main light as well as natural light from the big windows. In fact some of the best images today with Poppy were with just natural light. Poppy favourited 148 images and she even left the choices of the last set to me, as she had to leave. It was an amazing shoot and I’ve no doubt that you will enjoy all the sets from it.
One thing both Poppy and Athena have in common is that they’re young mothers. And as you can appreciate it’s tougher to create time for shoots when they have responsibility for a young child. Yesterday Athena’s son, who is only one, was unwell, so we only shot for one and a half hours. Even so, we did manage quite a few good shots. Athena is very self critical and only chose 16 images for editing but I’m adding a few more that I really loved.
I am including screenshots with thumbnails of both models favs, to give you a flavour of what we got up to.
It’s been a tiring but rewarding four days.
I’ll stop here as I am heading to the KPS to watch Leicester City’s first game of the season. Any Spurs fans out there?
Enjoy the rest of your evening.
