Comrade, honestly your work is great. Maybe it’s not yet how you want it personally but striving for some sort of perfection (that might not even be attainable) does not mean the work produced is not high quality, because it is.

The devil is in the details and most artist will aim for self improvement and increased knowhow and skill level. . However not all that one creates have to be one upped to one's previous work... kinda how one can draw or game to maintain current skill meta without any significant gains ^^ An artist is never truly done as they say and there is quite some truth in that, what i like to do when i draw is to set some limiters to the project so i don't hyperfocus on details when the drawing is done or was effectly done ages ago - Set at time limit - Restrict the number of layers -Never lift the pencil/pen of the paper while drawing and it's done when it's lifted ^^ - Never use an eraiser (helps with looking forward and not the past) Anyways, from this Gorehound i'll praise by saying your skills is godlike mate... GODLIKE!!!

Dude, you're the best painter I've ever seen, but art needs inspiration, and inspiration doesn't come all at once, much less like a chef looking at a recipe. So, it's normal that you don't get inspired once in a while. I like your [Kasumi] painting very much, and I hope you can continue with it. I can understand not feeling like you are reaching the standards you are going for in your work. It can leave you feeling super inadequate and it can be devastating especially if you are putting in a lot of hard work into your craft. You’ve obviously put in a lot of effort to be the artist you want to be, but for some reason you feel like you are coming up short. I can only mirror what other people here are saying. I think your art is top quality and I hope you’ll be able to think that as well so that you can begin to feel that feeling that your hard work as an artist is paying off! I’ll be here if you decide to open commissions again! Best wishes!

Ah, that’s a shame, but thank you for the refund nonetheless. I know sometimes it’s hard to feel confident in your work, no matter how good it is. Impostor syndrome is real. For the record, I think everyone here loves your artwork and thinks it’s more than worth the fair price you ask for it. If you ever feel like returning to commissions, I’ll happily apply again :)
