Quarantine 15... Stone Part 6

The final part in this series! Hope you all enjoyed it! I know telling a prequel story isn't as suspenseful when you already know the outcomes. We all know that John is ecstatic about the weight she's gained, and I've been spoiling the amount she gained since I posted the teaser, but I have a feeling you all still like seeing the results regardless. Also, I made the last bit of story here extra long so that it was more worth the wait.

The needle finally settled down. Adie had a hard time reading it. She had to lift up her now-gigantic stomach just to see what the number was. "3," she started reading out loud, already highly concerned that she was in the 3's, "3... 70." She stood, stunned. She'd never been this heavy, even when the Buffet Incident happened. That means that she had put on 210 lbs in two months. 63 days in total. That was over 3lbs per day! She knew John had been sending her tons and tons of Pizza, but 3lbs per day? That would mean she had to average over 11,500 calories PER DAY. She was cursing her biology class for teaching her this information, but she knew that it was true.

She had to face the music. Her Graduation Ceremony was next week. She'd have to get her gown altered. She'd have to do a lot of things, but first: she was going to find out once and for all if John had planned for this. She called him up, and with a little hesitation in her throat began, "I know we're planning to see each other next week, but... y-... you know I've been putting on a lot of weight, right?" There was a slight pause on the other end of the line. Adie's heart was racing (probably not the greatest thing for her at her weight), but finally John responded.

"Adie, over the past couple months I've sent you almost 240 pizzas. You're on a first name basis with every delivery guy that place has. If you didn't gain at least a few pounds off of the sheer quantity of food I've sent your way, I'd be very concerned that you were bulimic. Plus, more than one of the delivery guys has reached out to me to make sure that you're okay. They said they'd never seen anyone gain weight that fast. I had to broker a deal with them to make sure they wouldn't say anything to you about it."

Adie's expression turned from borderline tears to shock. She let the silence sit for a moment before breaking it, "You never said anything about it, though. I had no idea that you were okay with this- Not only okay with this, but actively making it happen." John gave a sigh, "I'm sorry, hun. I should've just told you that it was something I was into. You had hinted to me that your last boyfriend had been helping you gain weight, and I tried dropping a few hints, but I guess I was a little too subtle." Adie scoffed, "Wouldn't quite call this-" she shook her massive gut at the screen, "subtle... but thank you for apologizing." There was a longer pause than before. John sensed an opportunity in the conversation to turn it around and made the attempt, "So... I'm still going to see you next week, right?" Adie mood softened. She gave a quick chortle and replied, "yeah, I guess so... Just be ready to see all of me, okay?" John was ecstatic at this, "I've been waiting to see all of you for a couple months, hun. I don't think I could wait longer if I tried." Adie was back in a good mood and felt good enough to tease, "Good. Just remember, you're going to have to live up to all the big talking you've done the past couple of months, got it?"
