February’s Monthly Theme

Good morning! ☀️ So I know we are still early in January but I wanted to get a head start on our TOTM (theme of the month) for February since this will be new for us and I also plan to start creating newsletters ☺️ Because next month is February, I want to do romance as our theme! hehe.

As I’m planning how to create TOTM, I’m figuring out ways how to incorporate variety into what I react to. So, I think it’d be fun to have romance be our main genre while having sub genres, so we’re not just watching chick flicks all month haha so romcoms, rom-adventure, rom-horror, etc.

While the majority of films I react to will be romance, I still want to incorporate other movies (top tier request, franchises like Marvel) but also make one reaction to highlight and important date or event that happened in the said month. So for example, February 20th is World Day of Social Justice. I can react to a film that recognizes social justice. And ofc down the line, social justice might be the main theme for one month. But I basically want to highlight important issues that shape who we are as individuals, as a country (not just the US), understanding historical events, people, culture and traditions, etc. so hopefully you get where I’m going for this idea 😅💡

But if you guys can recommend me any films for February; romance, rom-horror rom-action, etc. or if you want to suggest me a social justice themed film I’d greatly appreciate it! If anything we can also do a poll for the social justice film.
