It was around 5pm when Rafy and I were shooting in my front room. The sun had already set and in any case I had to lower the blinds to ensure privacy. So I had to use artificial light. I used one of my ring lights and set it at a slightly warm temperature and threw the light on the white ceiling, away from my model, so the light was diffused. Additionally, I used my new Rotolight and throw that on a white backdrop that was diagonally opposite my model. So again the light was diffused. I set the Rotolight at a natural light temperature. Between them the two lights seemed to have done the trick. The soft and warm tones of the furniture and furnishings helped to set the tone for the shoot. I was very pleased that there were no shadows. The ISO was on auto and varied from around 1600 to a maximum of 4000.
