Introducing Hinako, Hina-chan, or just Hina
Added 2022-06-12 05:29:20 +0000 UTCSometimes a character design catches me by surprise. I was checking out a new hairdo on a Hotaru mesh when inspiration struck, and this character spun out of it. I'm calling her Hinako, or just Hina after the Japanese doll. The amount of effort and care that I put into designing her face reminded me of Wakana Gojou, the protagonist from "Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru (My Dress-Up Darling)". He paints faces on Hina dolls as part of his training to enter the doll-making trade. Shaping and detailing digital dolls takes a lot less time - this took about an hour.
