Yippee - glamour competition winner!
Added 2023-02-24 12:00:05 +0000 UTCGreat to wake up to another email from PP with good news - I have won the glamour competition! Not that I won any prize that is… just a mention on the front page of Purpleport but it all helps in terms of building a good reputation as a photographer, I think.
It’s my first ever competition win on Purpleport, although I have entered many of their competitions - there’s one every day! This time I chose an image that’s already been on Purpleport’s front page - there‘s nothing in the rule that prevents that - and it has clearly worked. I knew it was a popular image so it did have a chance but it all depended on the other entries of course. In the end it was a very close win, my entry receiving 29 votes and the runners up 28 and 27, respectively.
I suppose I can now claim that I’m an award winning glamour photographer! 😃
