I don't want to reveal everything but the game is bad at explaining. 1: What material you build things from is very important as it affects how the environment and the characters interact with it. Some materials are good insulators while others prevent overheating. 2: There is also an overview that shows where different materials are located, which can be activated via one of the function buttons. 3: There is also a tool for cutting power lines, which makes it much easier to reconnect the power grid.
