I had caught on same as u almost bcus ep is titled “ To you in 2022” n they kept talking about she should’ve got rid of her in 4th grade n yea she did look older it threw me for a loop but it doesn’t explain why did shizuka leave after 4th grade n where did she go if we believe the TL to work like the first 4 episodes

2025-07-26 02:49:28 +0000 UTCi’m pretty sure this is correct but the takopi and marina timeline was the original one. when takopi went back to his home planet to turn back time and his memories got erased, he forgot his time with marina and his purpose for going back in time but still went back in time. so where we are in the first 4 eps is the 2nd timeline where takopi had intended to go back and kill shizuka but forgot all about it and, here, met shizuka first and bonded with her and then saw marina as shizuka’s main threat because of how she was acting. i don’t know if she was truly acting like this in the original timeline though. he doesn’t die when shizuka hits him over the head but it causes him to regain all of his memories and he flies back to the pipe which is where he sees azuma. i hope this makes sense
