2025-06-12 19:19:24 +0000 UTCThe Light Novels gave some more Details and Information about Asmodeus and Demons in General which i found to be pretty interesting pieces of Lore: During the encroachment of the Demon Realm 400 years ago, it was not only Asmodeus who came to the Surface, but another 2 Top Demons as well (Beelzebub and Azael) and that according to Mammon in the LNs, a lot of the Demons are fallen Angels who were driven out of heaven a long, long time ago, with Asmodeus being one of them. Then came Fianna into the Frame 400 years ago who, as a Mortal, very nearly possessed the divinity of a goddess from heaven which might have aroused Asmodeus Primal Instincts and why he is so obsessed with Fianna. Another thing, according to Erza in the LNs, the Excorcists who are a Ancient Secret Force of the Church of Cremoux battled the top 3 Demons as well as lesser ones who invaded but they came to a Stalemate.. until Fianna entered the Battle and she single-handedly turned the Tide of the War by beating the top 3 Demons alone, with Beelzebub and Azael fleeing and Asmodeus trying to approach her but got beaten before he even could lay a Hand on her. Fianna also had such a vast Amount of Mana that even Philia who is said to have the most Mana of the current and past Saints is nothing compared to her (its indicated that Fiana could have cast the Great Purification Circle over the entire Continent by herself and would still have Mana left over) Even though they changed the Story in some Ways to seemingly squeeze Volume 2 of the LN into this Season, its still a really good Anime ^^
