Mid-December Update: Last Two Sci-Fi Audios releases, More SFW audios, & Burnout

I wanted to give y'all a mid month update. I know in the past I wanted to do more updates regularly, but as you probably realize I am monstrously inconsistent with my time. So let's just go over everything!
December Theme Audio Release Dates
For the past few months I've been slow to get the themed audios out and it's becoming more and more of a problem at least to me.
Before, when the audios would be just whatever came to me it was easier to plan out everything. Once again I must stress my awful time management. I come up with the themes of the month near the end of the previous month and the concepts at the beginning of the month itself.
With that said, a lot more time and care goes into making the 4 themed audios exceptional in quality of not only in their concepts but in execution. Personally, I wouldn't feel good releasing a 15 minute "Hey babe, wanna fuck? :3" audio for monthly audios and charging $5-$20 that imo is not worth it.
So with this month's Sci-Fi theme, I wanted to go all out for the concepts & audios so that's partly why "Stranded with the Enemy" is an hour long. I pretty much get carried away with the amount of work I put into these audios and feel exhausted my the 3rd & 4th releases. This month especially.
That being said, I want to try to get the last 2 audios of the theme out soon. Optimistically, by the end of the weekend.
I'm still trying to balance all my responsibilities atm so sorry for the delays my inconsistency and laziness causes. FORGIVE ME PLZZZZ!!!!
More SFW audios!!
Recently, I've posted an old SFW audio I never officially released over on YouTube! I've been wanting to post more things onto YouTube so this is a good start to that journey I suppose!
With how releases go. YouTube SFW audios will follow the same format as all other early access posts. I don't plan on making SFW exclusives in the immediate future, but that may change at some point, who knows.
So the release format will look like this for SFW audios:
1-week early access for Muse Tier patrons -> 1-month early access for Fable/Legend/Myth Tier patrons -> YouTube release -> Reddit release (1-month after YT)
These SFW audios will comprise mostly of BFEs & sleep aids, but the occasional story based project may pop up.
The engines are slowing down
Burnout is no stranger to me. I've experienced it before a while back in February but this time around It's been pretty bad. Whether to blame that on taking on too much or my mental/emotional health idk but I wanted to give y'all assurance that no matter what I still want to do this and make the very best content I can.
I'm sincerely sorry for the slower than usual content output, but I want to again reassure that I am focused foremost on making content that is QUALITY and that is worth the money y'all are so kind to support me with.

In the meantime! I'm gonna continue working and the projects that I have brewing are really exciting so I can't wait for y'all to see.
Balancing Patreon, Reddit, Twitch, & now YT may be tough but the future always looks bright to me so I'll keep chasing that. Once again, thank you for all the support and I hope to keep earning it on all my platforms!!!

Hi Myth, I don't know if you will see this since your post was a couple weeks ago, but I still wanted to leave a few words for you :) Maybe you feel like you owe us all X amount of content since we're paying for a subscription, but you are not a machine and I hope you won't try to treat yourself like you're one. You are wonderfully creative and amazingly dedicated to your craft and your art (and it IS art!!). Art takes a lot of mental energy, and you're leaving a piece of yourself behind in every audio you produce. The last thing any of us want is to see you get so burned out that you quit, so if you need to space out your audios more, I think the vast majority of us would welcome the idea. The quality of your audios is unparalleled and I can't even imagine how much work goes into the production of each one. The money we pay is honestly a thank you, not so much an exchange for goods and services. It's just a physical manifestation of our feelings and our support for you. It's not something you need to push yourself to repay, it's what we are more than willing to give to say thank you for all the things you do. I'll stop droning on now, but never forget that we will support you no matter what! I hope you find a better balance for yourself in the new year. Have a very happy new year, Myth!! <3

If a slower release schedule is more manageable, then do it. Something about absence and a fonder heart? Second, secure your own oxygen mask before helping others: that is, TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF so you can take care of everything else. As always, much support and love. It’s worth the wait if it means you’re proud of what you present. If you need breaks and more time for yourself, take it. You should be top priority. We will still be here. 2023-12-15 03:25:32 +0000 UTCHey, I just want to tell you, it is VERY apparent that even if the speed of your releases has slowed down, the quality has NOT fallen. Stranded With The Enemy was outstanding, and well worth an hour of my time to listen to. I know it can be difficult to manage your time, especially when you're your own boss, you only have yourself to hold you accountable really. I struggle with it too, working from home, it's all too easy to just go take a midday depression nap instead of working. Maybe trying to break down the job of "record and edit an audio" into smaller tasks so you can feel accomplished checking them off a list? IDK how feasible that is, I'm just throwing out ideas here. 😊 Honestly I think that when you started, and you were posting audios as fast as you could think of them, you maybe set a higher standard for yourself in your mind than you would be able to maintain long term. And so now, even when you're working at a pace that most would consider acceptable, it feels slow AF in comparison? Maybe it's about finding a happy medium, a middle ground that makes you feel like you're putting out quality work and giving your supporters their money's worth, without breaking yourself on the wheel of audio porn. If you ever want to have a planning sesh to try to figure out maybe scheduling things, trying to set up specific hours per day/week/whatever to work on things, let me know. Always happy to bounce ideas with ya. TL;DR - you're doing a good job, don't beat yourself up too much, love ya, etc 💜👍
