Concept Art (Future VN)
Added 2024-05-02 17:37:31 +0000 UTCAs offered in my post yesterday, I asked if you guys would be interested in seeing some concept art of my next project (that is still far in the future, for after TA is finished) and all the ones that replied were curious to see. Therefore, here I am bringing the goods!
Keep in mind, this isn't ALL there is to their concept art, but I don't really want to post the entire concept sheet for the characters so as to leave at least a little to the imagination. So here you go, three of the love interests for the next project (all the concept art there is so far).
For our fantasy themed future VN, first off we have Li (keeping in mind all of these are working names and might or might not be changed when the first demo comes out). An archer specialized in silent takedowns from afar. He is quite the deadly sniper, despite what his placid appearance might indicate.
Next comes Wei. A bit more of your traditional assassin. He's more of a brash guy, so prefers getting close and personal, thinking that there is no fun or merit to taking someone down from a distance, and his appearance reflects that preference.
And to round out the concept art that exists so far, we have this WIP of Wan. He may not look it, but he's definitely the youngest of the cast at 22 (although their world has 437-day long years, so by our standards he would be around 26). No clothes done yet, but he'll be a surly, somewhat irritable shrine priest with an important duty and a somewhat traumatic past.
There is one more love interest that hasn't had art for him started yet, so he'll have to be left for later. Also, if anyone is curious, their (current) ages are 26/27 for Li and Wei (which would make them around 31/32 by our standards).
And there it is. What concept art is there for the next project. There isn't much despite these having started being made in 2020 since Nyaruh and I are prioritizing art for Tennis Ace. These only really get worked on when there's a lull without any high priority assets being required for TA.
