Update 0.65 - Shoichi

I hope you've all been well. I've fully recovered from COVID (if you haven't kept up with the development updates on Twitter, I got COVID right after my college entrance exam) and finally managed to finish the Shoichi update. It was a meaty one as a lot of plot threads needed to be addressed from across all the possible variants of his route, so there are different ways the update can go based on which path (A/B/C) you are on as well as one other choice that also affects things.
Not only that, several of the TA backgrounds have been replaced for higher quality art backgrounds I purchased for use in the project.
Changelog:
- A new in-game has been added for Shoichi with three possible endings to it across the different route permutations
- Several new backgrounds have been put in the game, replacing old lower quality backgrounds
- Two new CGs have been added to Shoichi's route

I love this story. It's been a while since I've played Schoichi's route, and I've lost my savegames. I tried to skip all the way to where I was after completing the last update, but the app ended up crashing, and after a few attempts, when I finally managed it, I had lost track of where to skip to. Would it be too difficult to implement a simple loading system, to skip to the content in the latest build? That would be really cool.

2023-12-15 22:07:25 +0000 UTCWhat I will say without going into specific choices is that the routes are baaically split depending on how Yuuichi tackles Sho' relationship with his father, with routes for if he doubles down on either "listen to/ignore your father" and for if he tries to half-arse it and flip-flops on the topic a bit.

Also, it appears I have mislabeled my save pages; before it was "Shoichi (good), Shoichi (bad), and Shoichi (passive)", but clearly it should've been "Shoichi (good), Shoichi (salvageable), and Shoichi (fuck go back)"

Also loved seeing all the new backgrounds, although they were somewhat disorienting at first. It was really weird seeing Yuu's new house lol. I had to do a double take
