Time for a new tutorial ✨ This one is on Artistic Roadblocks! A roadblock is anything that brings your creativity to a standstill, including art block, burnout and drawing-related injuries. I've had my fair share of experiences with these, and in this video, I'll be sharing my story as well as all the tips and advice that I can give! I got so many questions about drawing-related injuries in my Q&A sessions that I felt it was time to put together a more comprehensive resource. This video is all about how you can learn from these experiences, and which healthy habits you can implement to get past them and hopefully prevent them in the future!
Next to this tutorial video, I also put together a worksheet pack! It implements principles from this video, so it's helpful to watch the video first. The worksheet can then help you to self-reflect and pinpoint the issues you can work on! It's attached to the bottom of this post.

Here's a cheat sheet with the most important information from the video - you can also find a PDF version with clickable links attached to this post!

Here are some additional tutorials I've made in the past that would be a great supplement to this one:
Creating an artistic routine: this video is about how you can set artistic goals and implement them into a steady, manageable routine. It's also about how you can balance your drawing time with other activities. It's a great supplement to this tutorial and I mention it a lot!
Imposter syndrome: this video is about how imposter syndrome can manifest for artists, and gives tips and advice for how to deal with these negative emotions.
Simple exercises for when you are short on energy, time, or inspiration: This is a good resource for those of you who are struggling with artblock, or aren't sure how to make the best use of your drawing time. It gives a range of exercise suggestions for each scenario!
A roadmap for artistic growth: This video is about what an artistic journey looks like, and how you can focus on building different skills at different stages. It can be helpful for those of you who want to zoom out and look at the overall artistic journey, rather than just the roadblocks on their own.
I hope you enjoy this video ! Feel free to share any future tutorial suggestions in the #tutorial-suggestions channel in the discord server (If you don't know how to join, just follow the steps outlined here) or leave them in a comment below ❤
