EARLY ACCESS // lotus leaves

It can be really hard to capture the complexity of multiple leaves without getting lost in the details, and that was definitely a challenge for me with this one - but in the end I really enjoyed drawing these huge, floppy leaves. There's something so satisfying about it once you get the rough painting down!

I also had the feeling that the painting really came together when the pink highlights were added :) as for your question, I don't have a collection for early access posts at the moment! I do have tags for paintings, sketches & studies, and sketchbook posts. i hope that answers your question :)

2025-03-31 07:27:29 +0000 UTClovely. really love the pink highlights, it kinda reminds me of the color fringing we see in some pictures, especially when zoomed out and together with the flower they kinda become anchors point for the eye. really beautiful. <3 also, if I may ask, do the early access posts have a collection like tutorials or resources where I can see all of them together? I tried to search them by tags, but some of them donβt appear in some of the tags. it's okay if not, I just thought of asking because I'm still new to patreon and I may be missing something.
