EARLY ACCESS // statue studies

This month's challenge was on statue studies! This was a great exercise for understanding lighting and volume, and also finding creative and subtle ways to introduce color. I really enjoyed painting more loosely and freely for these studies!

Flame members also get the full process videos, plus a resource video that talks you through my process and explains my creative choices in making these studies. It also discusses common mistakes and gives some tips! Those will be posted in a minute.
