Hi Lewis! That's a really interesting topic but I don't know that much about it unfortunately. That's because I haven't really dabbled in that side of art monetization myself. I do know that some artists make really unique collectible prints, and sometimes turn them into one of a kind collector's items by embellishing them with gold leaf, or customizing them in some other way. I know that James Jean does some interesting stuff with digital prints, and I also know that JAW Cooper creates interesting print runs as well. But I think that's all I really know about the subject. It is definitely a possible to to market your digital art in a more traditional way by doing gallery shows and creating unique prints!

2023-08-28 16:03:59 +0000 UTCHi Loish, I’m new here and a day late to join your Q&A but I do have a question that I don’t ever see digital artists discuss. I’d be interested in knowing more about how to monetize digital art in a more traditional setting. I know many people draw a distinction between the two and say digital art is more of a business for game developers and such but I don’t buy that. In the art world more prints sell then originals so there must be room for digitally made art if done correctly and by that I mean maintaining a traditional look and feeling and printing on high quality canvas/paper. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this and what others that do this successfully do and how they do it. If you ever get the time to go into your thoughts on this in detail it would be appreciated.
