i think if research sparks your creativity, that's great! i think anything that helps your creativity is a good thing :)

hey Julianne! It would probably be best to resize the image to something smaller and then save that as a PDF. but I generally stick to image formats for images, like PNG and JPG! make sure you keep your large psb file as a backup though!

Loish

Scanned in at pdf at 1200 resolution. Only saving as psb. Cant save as pdf even if I flatten the image. If I flatten the image can save as jpeg.. Do I just go with this? Thanks julianne

Julianne Kennelly

Thanks loish for your explaining your brushes😊 . I'm scanning an image at moment at it will only save as psd. I thought it would save as pdf for me. How do I save files for working with and as final documents. I think you have mentioned this before. So grateful for your patreon. It's brings so much learning. Julianne

appreciate these sessions a lot, thank you Lois! I like to learn about the technical part about art, but the mindset discoveries and life experiences are one of my things to hear as well 🙏

Laura

So helpful. "research==stifling" was what I needed to hear. It's fun to research sometimes and I understand creativity is the canon. Thank you, Lois! Cool.
