PROCESS VIDEO // bathroom (again)

Hey Patrons! I know I posted the bathroom process video a few days ago, but here's another version of it. I usually film a few snippets of my process so that I can edit them into short reels for instagram, but for this one I ended up filming a lot more than I usually do. I figure it might be interesting to share a process video in this format as well. It's not the full process, but a large majority of it is here! I sped this up to twice the original speed. For more info about how I drew this image, check out my previous process video post about it

honestly i just got it from the google image result for 'grid' hehe. i'm too lazy!

Loish

Clever use of the underlying grid. Did you make the flat grid you started with? Where did it come from.

Will Weston

glad you liked it!

Loish

Oh, I loved this 20min format. You should do this 20-30min format more often. Also, I loved the spots that you created on the edge of the mirror, made it so authentic. Nice

This is a remarkable glimpse at how to keep what could be sterile, geometric environments "alive". Thank you for posting it!

James Lloyd

Cool. Thank you.

i do lose some screen area, yes! but since i have quite a large tablet it has never really bothered me!

Loish

That's great, Lois, thanks! I also noticed your keyboard is on top of the screen? Don't you lose screen area? I always have a hard time figuring out where to put the keyboard in a more ergonomical way haha...

Márcio Vieira

yeah that's usually how i work! i just lose interest in the details when I try to work them out in the line/sketch phase.

Loish

haha yeah i think process videos / tutorials have much more impact if you can see some kind of real life feedback! it's why i started filming my face for the tutorials as well!

Loish

I love this video format! It shows so much more how you work through the painting (and apparently helps keep my scattered brain focused)

Nekobean

this is so interesting! I always tought your background sketch would be super tight. Really liked seeing how loose it was and how you managed to tidy up everything in the end.

Simone Mändl

Great idea! Thank you very much Loish
