PROCESS VIDEO // bathroom
Added 2023-03-14 14:57:38 +0000 UTCHere’s the process for my bathroom painting! I figured this one would be interesting to share in order to show how I implemented the perspective grid into the painting. I just copy/pasted one from google and transform/warped it to fit the scene I wanted to make!
Some info about this painting process:
- It’s been sped up to 250%, so a bit over twice the original speed.
- The painting took me about 3.5 hours to make in total.
- The brush I use the most here is the Gritty Butter brush from Wes Gardner’s 2020 brush pack.

My tutorials are on a mix of different topics - most of them are created in photoshop, but some of them are with traditional art or procreate! some of them are also about basic drawing principles and less about the drawing software, even though I demonstrate the principles in Photoshop. I learned something watching this - how neurotic you are about details! :) jk Seriously, though - the number of times you adjusted the faces was incredible, getting it just how you wanted it. What kind of reason or motivation makes you always decide the color through Hue/Saturation or Color Balance. Instead of using the color window to directly decide?
