UPDATE // new tier & video files
Added 2022-08-18 09:18:20 +0000 UTCHello Patrons! At the beginning of this month, I made a post announcing that there will be changes to this Patreon starting in October. For those who missed that post, the main changes will be:
- The basic tier ($5) will have access to 5 essential tutorials, plus the latest one.
- There will be a new higher tier. Only this higher tier will get access to the full backlog of tutorials (28 in total when the change is implemented).
In the last weeks, I’ve made a lot of progress on the new setup! Here are the latest updates:
- There will be a discord community for all patrons! It will be a place where we can hang out, chat, and share our work with each other. The server is nearing completion, and right now I’m working on putting together a team of moderators so that things run smoothly! This has been one of the most exciting things I’ve worked on in a while and I can’t wait to share it with you all!
- The basic tier will give you access to the following tutorials: Constructing a Pose, Choosing Colors, Environments, My Workflow in Procreate, and Warmups & Exercises for Improving your Skills. You’ll also get access to the latest tutorial. Just like now, you’ll get a download link at the end of each month you were signed up.
- The higher tier will be $10 a month. Perks for this tier are: monthly drawing challenges, a monthly Q&A session, access to an exclusive area of the discord, and of course the full backlog of tutorials.
A few of you mentioned in the comments of the last post that you don’t have a local copy of the tutorials you sponsored, and are concerned about losing access to them after this change.
Because of this, I will be making it possible to download these files one last time. If you were signed up during a month that I created a tutorial, you will get a DM from me containing a link to download the video. You might receive multiple DMs from me depending on how many months you were signed up. You will have until September 30, 2022 to download the video! I will be sending the DMs out this week, so keep an eye on your inbox!
Please keep in mind:
- I will only be sending links to the tutorials that will be moved to the backlog. The 5 essential tutorials listed above will still be accessible through the feed.
- The files for June and July are still up, so if you were signed up then, you can just click the link that I sent you at the end of that month.
- If you already downloaded the videos during the month you were signed up, you can ignore the DM I sent you!
I hope this solution works for those of you who want to retain access to the tutorials you sponsored! If there are any issues, please do reach out to me directly. I’ll be posting more updates about the new tier in the coming weeks!

Sorry to ask this question that probably everyone already asked but I don’t understand if I am on the 5$ tiers do this mean I have access every month to one Tutorial and the next month this tutorial is not accessible anymore but I will get the next month tutorial ?

Do we cancel our current level and pay for the new one? I have never done this in Patreon before so apologies if this is easier than it sounds, ha!

Now I’ll need to turn membership on and off every in order to keep my budget. I understand you need to make a living, am not mad, am just sad.
