Added 2022-07-15 12:21:38 +0000 UTCFinally sat down to finalize a WIP that I had posted back in March! I might make some changes to this one, but for now I have to let it go. Will definitely be doing more water surface paintings in the future since there is so much to learn there!

It reminds me of a holiday in France as a kid, when my mom and I got into an argument with my father and we angrily stormed off into the sea and just swam until reaching a bobbing red buoy, which made us halt and reconsider. By then, the beach had become a blob of color in the distance and around us were only a couple of rocks and some water plants below. I felt like the sea was closing in on me and while it was a little scary, mostly it was magical. It gave a whole new meaning to the ocean being vast and deep and full of wonders. Sadly, there were now cute fish around during my adventure.
