UPDATE // problems with Vimeo

Today I received an e-mail from Vimeo saying that I have to upgrade to a $3500/year plan or find a different place to post my videos within 7 days, because they say my videos are using up too much bandwidth. I use Vimeo for my Patreon videos, and they only get a few hundred views each, so I find this highly suspicious. I've also had a lot of issues with their embedding tools in the past (many of you have said that the videos were not viewable on your phones), so I've decided to move all of the Patreon videos over to YouTube. This seems like the best choice for now!
Unfortunately, Vimeo has only given me 7 days to solve the issue and Youtube doesn't allow me to upload more than 10 videos per day. I have to move a total of 117 videos, so there will be a period of about 4 days where some videos might be neither on Vimeo or on YouTube. When uploading to YouTube, I will prioritize the tutorials and other learning content like lectures and Q&A's, and I will be uploading the process videos starting from the most recent ones.
So basically, what's happening is this: if everything goes to plan, there will be a period of 4 days (between the 22nd and 25th of March) where about 40 of the older process videos might be temporarily unavailable. After the 25th, everything should be up and running again, with YouTube videos embedded in the posts.
Hopefully everything will go smoothly and none of you will have any issues from this! I just wanted to give you guys a heads up in case any of you have trouble watching the videos. I really appreciate your kind words :) and yes, I understand your frustration. it's happened to a lot of other people and the way they handle it is just messed up. at least give people an advance warning and some more time to sort things out, right?

I can cut other corners in my non-existant fortune but it just burns my sense of decency to see how they and other corporations are squeezing the knickers out of everyone just to make that extra buck, euro or whatever in the name of greed.

I would contact Patreon support and see if they can help you. It'd be terrible if an official Patreon partner is trying to scam their customers. :/
