Added 2021-07-27 08:00:10 +0000 UTCRemember these thumbnails that I posted a long time ago? Most of you said that you liked the fourth one, so I decided to go ahead and finalize that one! I’ve been using a technique for some of my paintings lately where I go from greyscale to color using different overlay layers. I used that technique here as well, gradually adding more and more blue / pink tones. It’s really time consuming, but I like the end result because it allows me to focus more on the contrast in the early stages! I’ll try to put together a process video for this painting. Thanks for all your feedback on the thumbnail version, and I hope you like this end result!
