POLL // july tutorial
Added 2021-07-12 08:36:17 +0000 UTCHey lovely patrons! I'm making my July tutorial this week, and I'd love your input on which topic to cover. This month I want to make the tutorial more focused around a specific technique or challenge, since the previous ones tended to become too generalized and long. I'd love to hear which one you'd like to see the most, and if you have any ideas for a future tutorial, feel free to drop it in the comments below!

Thank you so much!

2021-08-17 01:34:13 +0000 UTChey alex! the sculpting with color technique is indeed not great for more comlplex pieces. for those, I'll use the technique that I talk about in my environments tutorial, which you can find here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/tutorial-44069788

2021-08-16 13:46:47 +0000 UTCGreat tutorials, Loish ! I wonder if you use the same type of process as in Sculpting With Color when you have to create something with more characters and 3 dimensional feel to it (foreground, background, etc). I mean , when you have to “break the flow” with more layers, etc.

2021-07-14 08:22:08 +0000 UTCI hope you do all the tutorials, they are all very good 🥰
2021-07-13 22:11:41 +0000 UTCMaybe an idea for a future tutorial could be using squash and stretch in facial expressions? (if you havent done it already tho, I'm still new here and I havent watched all the tuts yet) I see a lot of character designers use it in their expression sheets and I saw you use it as well! I tried it but the faces just end up looking weird🤧 so a tutorial could be so helpful💕

2021-07-12 21:05:01 +0000 UTCSculpting with color!! This is absolutely what I hope you get to show in more depth. That would be my first choice of topic if you asked me what I’d suggest off the top of my head.

2021-07-12 19:23:16 +0000 UTCI feel like there's a lot out there on action poses so I'd really like the other two. I voted for sculpting with color because i really admire how you use color. Thank you so much for making these tutorials!

2021-07-12 18:36:37 +0000 UTCI'd also be interested in social media, marketing, and networking tips. You've amassed a HUGE following, and yes you are a great artist, but that can't be the entire story!
