Since the public demo release is right around the corner, most of the focus is now on polishing the already implemented things, especially glitches and balance issues. However, we found that we might be able to squeeze this feature in before that release.
If you look at the lower left part of the menu, you can see some skill names and numbers. Those are the levels of those actions/traits. They will vary from character to character, and can be increased either through leveling them up, or by equipping certain things. In this example, Seles' "Sword" gives her a +3 bonus to Rescue due to it being rather handy when cutting rope etc.
Rescue decides how many tie levels are removed from a tied up ally when the skill is used, and so how many turns you would need to untie that ally.
Struggling is similar, except of course it's used when someone is trying to free themselves.
Tying decides how securely an opponent is tied when you subdue them.
The names of these are subject to change.
