Added 2021-06-15 09:00:03 +0000 UTCThe result of a sketching session where I tried to push the colors way further than they were in real life, to try and capture the same feeling that I had when I saw that moment in real life. I feel like photos are so dull in comparison to seeing the real thing! But then when I push the colors too far, it doesn’t look believable anymore. Trying to find the balance with sketches like these!

I am also challenging myself in drawing landscapes for a project and I have one question: may you describe how you start drawing people in these kind of art? But that's the awesome thing about stylized painting! Not only can we capture those color nuances, but add in the emotional feeling those colors bring as well. I'd say you've done that here. :) Clouds and skies are so much fun to marvel at. <3
