Added 2021-05-20 16:03:17 +0000 UTCSome cat sketches! Drew them from reference first, and then made some stylized sketches immediately afterwards. I always think it’s interesting to see how my creative choices are different when I’m aiming for something slightly more cartoony!
By the way, I finished recording the style Q&A earlier today and will be posting it as soon as the captions are in, so probably early next week! It ended up being two hours long haha, I am terrible at keeping things to the point. I think you guys will like it though! Keep an eye out :)

2021-05-21 08:59:36 +0000 UTCthanks so much :) for me it's a lot easier to just do a longer one with no editing. it saves a lot of time with the editing part, but also doesn't require me to filter or organize my thoughts as much. it feels more 'free' to create! it's what I did with the final videos. just posted the first one, hope you enjoy it!

(i know you have stuff on gestures, but i was thinking on the movement of the cats as the essence of the cats to the point of almost making the drawing abstract but still keeping the feeling of "it's a cat") And yes, these are great :)

And about the video, I don't know what the majority think, but I prefer longer videos where people speak more naturally, instead of fast paced cut-to-the-chase ones. I don't mind either way, but if I could choose, I'd take longer videos. I don't actually know what would be easier to make, because the longer one is a lot of time filming, but less editing (I imagine, but maybe is the same)
