for this one it helped to use a chunkier brush that didn't allow me to get all noodly with the details!

Your heads look so effortless. I love drawing heads too, but I have a very tight or "strict" painting style. I find it very hard to do loose, one layer paintings without the colors getting muddy :( Anyways, that blue and pink lit one is my fav! Gorgeous!!

Oh, these look great so very dramatic! Btw you uploaded a little clip of you painting the goldfish picture to Instagram yesterday, which I thought was a very neat idea. I often think this age-old "Which brush do you use?" question is actually only badly phrased and what people actually want to ask is: "How did you make this effect?" Being literally able to look over someone's shoulder should be very helpful in this regard.
