2021-01-06 08:29:51 +0000 UTCfor me, the reason for developing a few WIPs at once is because I don't always have the mental energy to come up with new ideas. sometimes I want to paint but I don't want to start fresh, so I'll go to my WIPs and pick something out to finalize. When I do have headspace and energy to come up with new ideas, I usually make a few in one go! I usually have something like 3-5 WIPs lying around and I don't always finalize all of them, some of them just aren't very good haha.

I have to start and finish a painting before moving on to the next one or else I’ll never get around to finishing my WIP’s haha. What is your mindset with only taking a piece to a certain stage of polish and finishing it later? How many WIP’s do you usually have going at once?

But since you've already done so many environments last month I would also be verry happy to see the first one finished. Also wanted to thank you for creating a patreon account and making it super affordable. You're one of my favourite artists since I've been in highschool and seeing more the behind the scenes it's a dream come true to me.

I’m currently in I hate winter mode, so being drawn to it is unusual for me. The second one feels the most sketchy, and your ideas that begin the full painting process feeling really sketchy tend to be my favorites. I’m curious to know if the blue shapes are jellyfish, birds, angelfish (the freshwater kind not the ocean kind), blue poppies or something else I haven’t guessed. The first one is most in your comfort zone, and is very appealing with the sunny feeling. It’s probably the easiest for you to do, but I’m not sure it’s the one where you’d learn the most. Tho on the plus side for it, I’m struggling with some profile art ideas, so if you have tips for getting good looking profiles it would be nice.
