As always: It’s real-time, and the total process to make the painting was about 3.5 hours. That's why the process is split into two parts! If you want to watch it at a faster speed, just click the gear icon and choose the speed you like!

hey maya! indeed, I just activate the tool with the shortcut "g" (or shift + g if it's on paint bucket, to switch to gradient) and then use alt + click to select the color! be sure that you're using the gradient tool and not a gradient map! i hope this helps :)

How do you get the gradient color to match the one in your main pallet without that annoying gradient window pop up? It looks like you simply use the color pick tool, but that doesn't seem to working for me.
