EARLY ACCESS // self portrait
Added 2020-03-27 13:30:48 +0000 UTCI haven’t made one of these in a while!! Here’s a self portrait that doesn’t really nail the resemblance but I’m happy with how the colors and lighting turned out. I usually draw from photo reference, so painting from real life is aways a huge challenge for me. Also, the lighting changed as I was painting so that added an extra level of complexity :’) It was definitely a fun exercise though!
Here's a selfie that I took while I was drawing so you can compare how my eyes interpret things vs. how my iphone lens interprets things :')
