Band Girls’ Mixology Mission [191]
Added 2025-11-03 13:27:33 +0000 UTCIt was a simple idea—but at least a way for these two to actually hear each other out.
The curious thing was, this idea genuinely worked only if Kikukawa Kyo was the intermediary "message relay."
If you swapped Kyo out for someone else—or worse, tried to handle it over LINE—the whole thing would instantly collapse.
Because if anyone other than Kyo tried to relay messages, there was no way Sakiko and Soyo would freely open their hearts. And as for LINE, ha! Look how long Soyo had been flooding Sakiko’s inbox, with nothing to show for it.
After Kyo shared her suggestion with Sakiko and Soyo, she left the two to mull it over. She herself went directly to lean against one of the pavilion's pillars, propping her legs up on the stone railing, her gaze drifting back to the wind and rain outside.
The pavilion’s eaves weren't long enough to block out all the rain. The railing surrounding it was already thoroughly drenched before they arrived, evident from the deep green moss accumulated over endless storms.
As Kyo propped her legs up, the wet surface instantly made itself known on the bare skin of her thighs, beyond where her uniform skirt could protect.
The sensation was a paradoxical blend of soft moss and hard stone. Droplets of rainwater gathered into beads that burst and scattered between her elastic thighs and the tiny gaps in the stone, spreading along those narrow crevices, wetting even more of her skin.
Then there was the earthy fragrance, first teased out by the rain. From inside the pavilion, she looked out toward the trees swaying beneath clouds heavy with moisture…
Kyo reached her hand out into the rain, attempting to catch some drops. Raindrops tumbled chaotically onto her arm, but even as she tried to catch them, they slipped effortlessly through her fingers.
Some droplets trickled directly down her arm, following a clear path, sliding straight into Kyo’s sleeve.
Kyo blinked, sensing the cool, slippery path of water trailing all the way down to her underarm.
It's kind of chilly… She couldn’t help squeezing her arm tighter against her side.
This pavilion is pretty great.
She hadn’t expected such a nice discovery today. Kyo had never particularly noticed this pavilion before—it was sheer coincidence she'd wandered here today.
Hmm. Today I still have Sakiko and Soyo’s issues to handle. Next time, maybe I'll bring a few bottles of water and just sit here alone in the rain.
“Kyo.”
“Kyo-chan.”
The two voices called simultaneously, snapping Kyo's attention back.
“All decided?”
Kyo looked over at Sakiko and Soyo. Sakiko had already returned to her usual slightly cold expression, seated elegantly on the small stone stool in the center of the pavilion, knees together, hands holding her bag neatly on her lap.
Soyo had a similar posture, except she kept restlessly fiddling with her index finger.
Both nodded, accepting Kyo’s proposal.
Kyo remained perched comfortably on the stone railing, waving casually at them and smiling, “So—which one of you wants to go first?”
Watching Kyo’s small hand fluttering lightly in the air, both hesitated slightly. Were they supposed to walk over and whisper directly to her?
“I'll go first,” Soyo smiled gently, narrowing her eyes at Sakiko, seemingly forgetting they’d nearly gotten into a fight just moments ago.
On the surface, she appeared to politely discuss with Sakiko who'd go first—but she'd already stood up the moment she’d spoken.
If the other person were an ordinary girl, this gesture alone would exert subtle pressure, prompting the seated person to yield automatically.
“Hmph. Petty trick…”
Of course, Sakiko instantly saw through Soyo’s intention. If Sakiko insisted on going first now, Soyo would be awkwardly left standing there.
But Sakiko didn’t plan to play that game. Instead, she generously replied, “Go right ahead.”
Then she closed her eyes, composed and unruffled.
Yet somehow, seeing Sakiko’s completely calm reaction made Soyo feel she'd already lost another round in this invisible battle.
She walked slowly toward Kyo. Since Kyo was supposed to relay messages, obviously this meant whispering secretly in her ear, right?
Ideally, they'd be at the same height—but Kyo was sitting on the stone railing, a few heads shorter than Soyo standing up.
And because Kyo had occupied the entire seating area with her legs, it looked like Soyo’s only choice was bending down to whisper into Kyo’s ear.
But Soyo had another small idea. She hesitated briefly inside herself before finally making up her mind—
She stepped even closer, so close that Kyo’s shoulder unintentionally brushed against Soyo’s lower belly.
“Kyo-chan, can I…”
A very faint exchange. Sakiko barely caught the first few words from Soyo’s lips, the rest reduced to indistinct murmurs.
Had it already started?
Then Sakiko watched as Kyo nodded at Soyo, saying cheerfully, “Sure thing.”
Next, Sakiko’s eyes widened in shock as Soyo smoothed her Tsukinomori uniform skirt, turned around, and slowly sat down—directly onto Kyo’s lap.
Sakiko’s pupils instantly dilated, completely shattering her previously composed facade.
She nearly blurted out an immediate protest against such an indecent act that entirely disgraced the image of a Tsukinomori ojou-sama—but at that exact moment, Soyo turned to face Sakiko, flashing a mocking, ambiguous half-smile.
Stay calm... If I lose my cool now, I'll be playing right into Nagasaki Soyo’s cunning hands.
Now Sakiko was absolutely certain. This move was blatant revenge, nothing less than outright provocation aimed straight at her!
Sakiko forcefully suppressed her rising, nameless anger, twitching at the corners of her lips while desperately trying to feign complete indifference.
Then she watched as Soyo twisted her body—note clearly that Soyo hadn't merely sat on Kyo’s thighs but directly on the tops of her thighs—and pressed her chest, which was equal in every aspect to Sakiko’s own, snugly against Kyo’s body.
This is supposed to be whispering?!
By now, Soyo was practically embracing Kyo. Rather than whispering something quietly into Kyo’s ear, it looked much more like she was genuinely, literally—
—biting her ear!
