Frodo Baggins was supposed to be 50! At the time he and the Fellowship left for Mt Doom. Older than the other Hobbits, he was like that cool older uncle who likes adventures. That would have been a much different movie. Sam calls him Mister Frodo because Sam is half his age, not just his employee only. I don’t really like the idea that Strider and Gandalf spent 18 years searching for Gollum! That’s just ridiculous. So in the movie, it seems like Gandalf left Frodo and came back in a week, two weeks, maybe a month. It doesn’t say. I think that Hobbits are supposed to look more like they do in the old cartoon rather than Elija Wood and friends with their Jerry curl hair and skinny bodies. But whatever, the movie aesthetics worked for their purposes. Now, Thorin Oakenshield is supposed to be around 60 and should be the oldest looking dwarf. He is so tall in the movie he looks like a short human! The thing that annoyed me the most was- how the Pale Orc jumped out of the ice after falling in and drowning (like Jason Voorheese or Freddy Krueger!) it would have been better if he just died by throwing that big rock at him. Death by weights and counter weight. They had the chance to kill the villain a different way, but stabby stabby stabbed eachother in the chest. Same old thing. 🥱🥱🥱 YOU CANT JUST JUMP THRU SOLID ICE from underwater. So P Jackson really screwed up the second time around.

It’s NOT a good review 😝 they put one of the biggest franchises in the world in the hands of some inexperienced twinkies ever-focused on modern political nonsense to do a proper Tolkien Epic. They’ve been low-key FIRED, aka “sidelined” for more experienced creators to take over... is that proof enough that Rings of Power failed/ sucks?
