Ah, Gandalf... yes you would like Glorfindel’s backstory- one of the mightiest most legendary elves evaaar!!! It was supposed to be HE the hobbits and Strider met on the way to Rivendell (not Arwen as shown in the movie). I FORGIVE this change, because it was a great way to introduce Liv Tyler and keep her character relevant. You should check out every video you can- even if you don’t react to all of it. The Silmarillion audiobook is a great listen if you LOVE ELVES.
