The inserted character of Tauriel repeated the Princess Arwen elf-healing scene again with kingsfoil aka athelas plant but did it in kind of a weird SEXUAL WAY that was cringey (to think of Peter Jackson wanking behind the camera). No offense toward Evangeline Lily. I like her and never saw her before, but afterward in Antman. If they wanted to do a story about Tauriel set apart from The Hobbit, I would be fine with that! And Legolas wasn’t there at the time either. He was living, but not there. He says the term: Goblin Mutant. That’s a scientific term like Central Nervous System that would have no meaning in this world. Mutant is a term used in Genetics. You can’t say these things in movies designed for Smart People. Btw, Tauriel and her dwarf love story doesn’t belong in the hobbit at all! And I don’t think it’s memorable even slightly- it didn’t inspire any real world interracial couples that were already happening 😅 the contrivance of the Morgul Arrow pissed me off after a roller coaster ride down a river in barrels. In the book, it was just their method of escape from elf prison. No hectic Orc chase scene in there! Gimmie a break. Could they please also NOT HAVE Bombour rolling around and being fat for laughs? That sucks 🙃 how many times did a flying arrow come from nowhere and saved the day? Kind of lazy.
