I'm making great progress with ch13. Prioritising working on the comic has boosted the speed a lot. At least that's how it feels like to me - but it also still feels too slow! Really odd. I'm managing the lines for one scene (5-9ish pages) in about a week. Colouring another week. Waiting for the translation another week. 3 weeks for one scene then.
But one thing I do every single workday is 60-90+ minutes of linearts. That way, new pages are always in the making!
I estimate chapter 13 to be fully done by the end of September at the latest. Hopefully it will be done sooner. It's a long chapter!

2025-07-02 08:56:39 +0000 UTCThe fact that Piet can STILL act so lovey dovey with Thea even after that kiss is so interesting. Like, given his past reactions to situations where he ends up somehow emotionally or physically cheating being akin to guilt, you’d expect him to be at least a little bit self conscious about actively showing affection to Thea as if nothing was wrong. ¿Does he feel guilt doing this?, ¿Is it somehow justified in his brain?, ¿Or is it purely as a means to control her perception of him, by not acting in a detached way as to not seem suspicious? I think this is a very emotionally involved, subtle, and realistic depiction of cheating for most cases. Really fun stuff!
