He’s an incredibly interesting narrator; he’s so guarded that even when the story is from his perspective you can’t quite figure out what he’s thinking or feeling (unless it’s written). But seeing his little blush at Molle’s praise is such a hopeful thing. He’s opening himself up to friendship and willingly giving of himself to another person. His character growth is one of the most rewarding to see play out.
