[GG | Ch 15] Storyboard | 822-824//

Storyboard by Daniela Konno

Haaa, this end is one of my favourites so far. It fits so well with reaching appr. half of the whole G&G series. Happy New Year, Piet+Levi and all the rest of the cast. Life won't get easier, but you will be able to deal with it better.

Thanks for following along that far ♥

Hah, your family must be fun! It's an important topic for me as well since my life always revolved mostly around my family. I like to think about a character's parents especially, since they aren't that much older. And siblings too.

I love your portrayal of family in the comic. My family means the world to me, and it’s so meaningful to come across media that highlights that beautiful and complicated love. (And Molle’s family makes me smile :) I’ve got lots of siblings too!) So I just wanted to pop back in and say thank you for all your work on this story!

So happy to hear that Piet+Levi are so important to you! They are my most important relationship in the series too, so yeah T_T ♥

Piet and Levi’s relationship is one of the most important to me in the series, if not the most… this makes me so, so happy and hopeful. Again amazed at your ability to convey such important moments with tenderness and not much need for dialogue (and this is only the storyboard!). Also constantly wondering how Piet’s feelings and actions towards Levi would change if he knew that Levi was going through a similar sexuality crisis. Apart from Piet not feeling alone, I wonder if he’d start seeing Levi as the mature version of himself that he is instead of the annoying little brother…

Also I have a different fanfic thing, where Tim wanders into the woods and Piet runs away dramatically after a whole argument, and this causes them to cross paths, and Tim assumes Piet is there to get him and chews him out and Piet is trying to explain but Tim won’t let him talk so he walks away deeper into the woods, and asks Tim if he’s coming or not. Tim walks away, but sees that Piet is still leaving and follows him, asking what he’s doing. Piet says he’s running away, because if he goes home he’ll be sent back to boarding school and if he goes to boarding school he’ll have to do his sports and his Piano lessons and projects and assignments, and he doesn’t want to wait for another break. He explains that he has a sleeping bag, and he’ll sleep on the floor or something. Tim says he can’t do that and Piet asks why not, and what good reason he should have to go back. Tim can’t answer, and Piet says Tim is free to come with him. Tim says that this annoying behavior is why he doesn’t have friends and Piet says he doesn’t need friends to mock Tim by repeating his words back to him, and also because he kind of feels that way right now. Tim doesn’t know what to do and gets mad and Piet sarcastically says he’s never felt that way, like someone was unreachable and he didn’t have a choice but to get to him. Piet decides if it’s really that important he’ll be back at school tomorrow. Tim asks why he’s running away and Piet says something sarcastic like how it’s obviously because school is the only thing he cares about and he has no other interests and because he’s nothing like Tim and that’s why they’re on opposite ends of the school doing completely different things right now. Tim asks why Piet can’t just talk to him like a normal person and Piet asks why Tim can’t just talk to him like a normal person. Tim decides he can’t leave Piet alone and tries judging him for it and Piet decides that he actually wants Tim to leave so he suggests Tim be nicer and more sociable and all that stuff and starts an argument on purpose and when it ends and Tim is still here, Piet bemoans that there’s really no getting rid of him. They stay there all day and Tim admits he feels like Piet is condescending to him when they talk and lecturing him like some authority who sees him as a problem child and not a classmate and that’s why he doesn’t like him, and says that since he “talked to Piet like a normal person” Piet should explain why he ran away. Piet tells the story of kissing Lucas and being forced into boarding school and how he became perfect Piet, and meeting Thea, and his falling out with Levi, and what happened with Henry, and his mother. He also admits that Tim refusing to engage in all this school stuff personally offended him more so than being an affront to his grades. Then a search team finds both of them and Piet admits to exactly what happened and they’re brought back. Tim decides to tell Piet he was wrong about not needing and friends and that he was scared the whole time about how Levi, Molle, Thea, and Henry would react if he went missing in those woods, and Piet admits he felt that way too.
