This is unrelated but how would Tim feel if instead of Henry, Piet had been the one to think of the Marble thing? And how would he react if Piet tried it right now?

The Urge

Tim would feel bad about it. Piet would be out of his sight if he left school, and it would haunt Tim for a couple of years to know that his mentor was in such a bad place mentally. He even wonders if he's guilty for that, at a least a little.

Lisa Brenner

And what would he think if Piet straight up pulled out of school for professional help? That’s kind of the central piece to this one, Piet not only fully backing out of his perfect role, but happily accepting the exact kind of arrangement Tim has been afraid of, and deciding he needs help more so than Tim ever did and putting himself in a more emotionally vulnerable place than him. How would Tim feel about all that?

The Urge

He would be confused, proud, then confused, ha.

Lisa Brenner

How would Tim feel about Piet if Piet got jealous of him?

The Urge

I like this one: "so Piet snidely remarks after the teacher compliments Tim on his grades that it must be nice to do the bare minimum and have that be commendable. "

Another fanfic thing because i’m obsessed, this is the craziest one, imagine Piet spirals after the mentor switch and the cheating drama and his treatment of levi leave him finally alone and without anyone and he becomes jealous of how well Tim is doing and learns that they’re holding a small party for him since at this point Tim likes everyone except Piet. Now Piet is struggling in class because he’s doing so poor mentally and he wants to let that anger out at Tim so he snidely remarks after the teacher compliments him on his grades that it must be nice to do the bare minimum and have that be commendable. Tim calls Piet out and Piet tries to apologize and Tim says the apology is fake, and Piet starts crying and bites himself and when Tim tries to stop him he screams about how there’s no real reason Tim would have to want to help Piet because he’s never be good enough and he’ll only make the worst choices and if he was Tim, meeting himself he’d have punched himself in the face by now, because he’s so stupid and bad at everything and thinks he’s so smart, and ends it by saying he just wants to be as good as Tim, but instead he’s only gotten worse. Tim is shocked to see that Piet feels inferior to him, and then Piet runs away and can’t go back to his room because of his roommate so he runs into the woods and when he’s found he tells the teacher he hurt himself and needs help. He insists he’s not going back to class and wants professional help, so he’s put in a psych ward and we skip forward a year and he’s back at school on his own insistence because his breakdown was not part of a pattern. He’s not put in any extra stuff, no longer school rep, and also given a therapist to speak to regularly, and he starts to make strides to repair his relationships with everyone now that he’s had time to think about his actions. He sees Tim again and apologizes for how he acted last time they saw each other, and Tim says it’s behind them now. Then Piet and Tim end up hanging out together and bonding over their mutual experiences because they have the same friend group, and now they’re just sort of friends.

The Urge

So i’m curious about how Piet is going to win Tim over, since I know based on something you said he’s not giving up on mentoring. But what will he do? If he apologizes I don’t know how it will appear genuine and I don’t know with him also trying to be a mentor, and I don’t know what will ever get Piet to talk to Tim again if the switch happens, without it being something that will make Tim even more angry at Piet.

The Urge

I love him but, Yes, tell him! DÍSELO REINA!! YAS MY QUEEN 👑
