After Tim finally tells Piet about the mentor switch, he's been sick of acting perfect for a while, and when he thinks about it he decides he hates this assignment. So he goes up to Tim and tries to talk to him, but Tim blows him off and tells him to go get his perfect grade with Molle or something, and Piet blurts out that he wants an F. This gets Tim's attention, and Piet says that he doesn't want to do this assignment anymore, but if he's paired up with someone who cares about this he'll be making them fail, but Tim didn't want to do this assignment so if they stay paired up than neither of them have to do it. Tim says he can't just tell Henry he gave up on the switch in favor of blowing his schoolwork, and he can't believably pretend to like Piet either. Piet begrudgingly accepts that he'll have to do it, and walks away.
