Added 2025-08-29 21:37:58 +0000 UTCHi there! I'm back! 🗿✨ I wanted to use this post to update you on my studies, so I may go on a bit (apologies for the length of this post 😵💫). As I mentioned before, I wanted to take this opportunity to work on the models I've been wanting to design for months, which is why I'm also taking my time to study many areas that I didn't fully master before. As you can see, the look is now more 2D than in previous models, but I'm still looking for a balance to achieve the best look. I also took the opportunity to study many optimization tricks so that I wouldn't have to rely on subdivision modifiers, making the models much lighter and easier to adapt to VR platforms later on. Finally, I wanted to clarify that I am still studying many more aspects of shading and painting, so the model is not 100% finished. I still have to study more painting concepts for the body, but I am really motivated by all the progress I have made compared to previous models, especially in terms of optimization, where the change is incredible.
