Love this one guys!!! But ash my man when you going to watch kingdom of heaven! It's everything you love in a movie and you will put it up with troy, 300 and gladiator trust me brother trust!

Basically, I somehow find them all enjoyable. (Nothing beats the first tbh). Would love to see more though! Cheers!

It’s a tad annoying when it happens a few times per watch along (I hope you understand what I’m trying to explain)

2024-12-22 01:49:19 +0000 UTCJurassic Park is just an amazing movie that was groundbreaking when it came out, and is a game changer in the special effects industry. The CGI, and practical effects still look amazing after over 30 years. The cast is great too. Sam Neil has done a lot of great stuff over the years, but the two films you gotta see him in is “Event Horizon”, and “In the Mouth of Madness”. Jeff Goldblum is always great, but a film that’s worth seeing him in is “The Fly”. Guaranteed no neck Hanna movie. Richard Attenborough has acted and directed a lot of great films. I think you might like his directorial effort “A Bridge Too Far”. Underrated war movie. The follow ups were hit and miss. “The Lost World” is the best of the sequels by far, and definitely worth the watch. 3 is okay, but has a weak plot. 4 is pretty much the first film on steroids, but is still entertaining, 5 sucks, and 6 is a bit of an underwhelming finale. But keep up the good work!

2024-12-21 20:39:46 +0000 UTCThe lysine contingency was that the dinosaurs on the island are getting lysine in their diet that they require because of a genetic change the scientists made in their creation; however, if the dinosaurs get off the island they won't get the lysine and will die. So when they were talking about the lysine contingency they were just saying that if they bail get off the island they don't have to worry about the animals leaving the island.

2024-12-21 06:46:39 +0000 UTCSome notes: -John Williams makes this music...but also does Harry Potter, Jaws, E.T., Home Alone...etc. You can hear his music in all those movies... -Lysine contingency was in the dino's diet..not a button pressed to kill. They have to give the dino's lysine in their diet or they will slip into a coma and die. -Samuel L. Jackson had a death scene scheduled at the end of shooting the movie, but a tropical storm delayed and cancelled his flights and he couldn't make it...so they killed him off screen. -Hammond's motivation for the park wasn't financial. He "spared no expense" because he just wanted to see the joy on ppl's faces. It was the lawyer who cared about profits. Malcolm was just pointing out that genetic manipulation is a new terrority that can be abused by the wrong ppl, or incompetent ppl...which proved to be them since they thought it would be ok to mix dino DNA with that of a frog. -Actually, except for the fact that they didn't account for the dino's swapping sexes on their own, the park would have been successful if not for Dennis Nedry's corporate espionage. -finally, the dino sounds you hear are real animal sounds mixed together. The Raptor's where dolphin screeches and tigers. the TRex was lion and elephant. the Brachiosaur (long necks) were donkeys belting but on a track that was slowed way down.

The book by Michael Crichton has all the themes of movie, but also the scientific stuff required to explain the movie. Then the movie captures everything you want from a 1993 summer blockbuster movie. Great times. Plus I remember having to wait for the VHS on Christmas Day. The wait from the cinema felt like 20 years had passed.
